I am an artist who lives in Townsville, in the tropical north of Queensland. I love the wonderful light, colours and temperatures of the tropics and – of course – the lifestyle!
I work with many subjects; the Australian landscape is one of my great passions but there are many other interests that I explore visually (see ‘exhibitions’ and ‘works for sale’). I taught full time at JCU as Associate Professor and program leader of Fine Arts during the highlight era of COMVAT, and now give workshops all over Queensland.
In my spare time I play the treble recorder with other instrumentalists – and I love sailing!
My studio is on the banks of the Ross River in the Upper Ross area of Townsville. It also serves as my gallery and is open by appointment (see contact page).
Give me a ring and come over for a chat and a coffee.
